Fed Cup 2025: Bashundhara Kings make their way to the final by eliminating Rahmatganj

The nail biting quarter final 2 finally ended with the astounding victory of Bashundhara Kings who not only won their quarter finals but also sealed their spot as finalists which is scheduled to take place this 22 April 2025 (Tuesday). The fiery quarter final 2 kicked off at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium. 

The Kings were dominating the game from the start and they lit up the scoreboard by the smashing goal of Sohel Rana in the 25th minute. Fans were celebrating their performance of today stating it looks more like the vintage Bashundhara who is known for smart positioning, quick passes and timely goals. However, Rahmatganj didn’t give up and they tightened their lines & raised the hype with their counter attack at the 62nd minute. But Basundhara Kings broke the par and registered their victory with their second goal which was also the decisive goal at the 113th minute by their substitute defender Insan Hossain. 

With this roaring victory Bashundhara Kings entered into the finals for the fifth time. Previously, they were finalists in the year – 2018, 2019, 2020, 2023-24.
