Latest Fuel Prices in Bangladesh: Diesel, Octane and Petrol Rates

As of March 27th 2025, fuel prices in Bangladesh have not been changed, which was continued by the interim government as announced by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources. The state owned Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) remains in profit from the sale of octane and petrol. 

But, the overall financial picture of the corporation is highly dependent on the sale of diesel because within the overall fuel consumption in Bangladesh, diesel accounts for 75% of total consumption. 

With global prices of oil fluctuating, the automated pricing mechanism for prices of fuels in Bangladesh continues to provide a constant supply of funds from the fuel market while mitigating dramatic reactions in the market. The next scheduled fuel price will be announced in April 2025.
