Know the New Traffic Guidelines for Gulshan-Banani Road

The Gulshan Traffic Department unfurled the official announcement regarding some changes that they made for the Gulshan-Banani road, these changes instructs the people not to use some of the rights turns, U-turns, including the Kakoli and Sainik club which is located in the areas of Gulshan and Banani. Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s trial implementation aims to resolve the long-term trouble in the traffic flow of the pivotal cities and to seek out the congestion. 

What are Changes?

• The vehicles coming from Mohakhali can take U-turn at Sainik Club instead they can go to Banani or Amtali
• At the Kakoli Crossing all types of right turns and U-turns are prohibited
• You can take U-turn from Banani Cemetery Crossing while going to Gulshan/Banani [Exception for Buses and Large Vehicles]
• Buses/other Large Vehicles must use Army Stadium U-turn.
