Breaking: Section 144 has been imposed at the SSC exam centres. Know Why!

Around 19 lakh 28 thousand two hundred and eighty one students are qualified to write the SSC exam which was scheduled to kick off from 10 April 2025. Previously, we have witnessed the protests and demands of students to postpone the exam for one month by quoting some of their appeals. But the Education Board denied and stated that their request is completely irrelevant. As the exam is nearing its date, Section 144 has been imposed with the directives. 

What are Directive Instructions?

  • A candidate must enter the exam hall 30 mins before the exam starts. If anyone fails due to certain unavoidable reasons they must inform their – roll number, name, entry time, & reason in the register.
  • But no student will be allowed to write exams if they come after 30 mins or after the exam has begun.
  • The Center Secretary will be reported with the list of late coming candidates.  
  • The Center Secretary is permitted to use mobile phones, and check the students before they enter the exam hall.
  • But the Center Secretary must use a mobile with no facility to take pictures or internet. If breached severe actions will be taken.
  • Mobile phone usages are prohibited to officers, teachers & employees who are responsible for receiving and transporting the question papers.
  • The question paper transport must not be done in a vehicle with black glass.
  • Each center will be appointed with a Magistrate/Tag Officer and the Center Secretary/ his designated representative will receive the question papers from the Treasury/Police Station/Security Custody.
  • There is a set of Code for every question and it will be announced 25 minutes before the start of the exam.
  • That prescribed code would be confirmed by the Officer Incharge for the centre, Center Secretary, & Police Officer with the signature and presence.
  • Other than the Candidates no one is permitted to enter the examination hall.
  • Any unauthorized person enters or breaches the rule he/she will undergo the legal action.
  • The candidates who come late to the exam hall due to certain unforeseen incidents must be given the time mentioned on the question paper. 
  • The Law Enforcement Officers are instructed to transport the question papers to test centers.
  • If anyone involved in leaking the question paper, the legal actions will be undertaken by – District Administration & Law Enforcement Agencies.
  • All photocopy and coaching centers will be closed until the end of the examinations, that is from 10 April – 13 May 2025.
  • Most importantly, Section 144 will be imposed around the areas that are with SSC exam centers.
  • All the information and data regarding the exams will be carried out to the media by the President, Inter-Education Board Coordination, Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
