2025 Kumbh Mela Safety Measures and Videos
The 2025 Kumbh Mela is expected to host 45 Crores devotees; millions have already taken a bath in Prayagraj seaking liberation from the cycle of life and death, inevitably praying for attainment of Moksha (Peace). Unfortunate and alarming death tolls have been reported like the 1820 stampede in Haridwar took the lives of 485 people or the 1986 stampede piling 50 deaths.
Even after such alarming and sporadic deaths and even a deadly Covid spread back in 2021, the growth in attendance each passing year ensures the unity and spiritual significance of the tradition, on the other hand gives an opportunity for the organisers and changing governments to make stronger structure and conditions for the pilgrims to follow.
