The fourth day of the first test match between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe came to an end with the thrilling victory of Zimbabwe men’s team. With this they mark their first win in the test format since 2021. The day began with a brief rain during the morning session but it did not cause any notable delays. With 6 wickets in hand and 112 runs on the scoreboard in the lead, Bangladesh Men commenced their batting by losing their key batsman Shanto at 60. Following the captain, Jaker Ali bagged 58 runs but it didn’t help much on the scoreboard. Because they have been losing their wickets consistently.
Notable Victory
The second innings of বাংলাদেশ finished off with the below par target of 174 to Zimbabwe men. The anchored innings of Ben Curran and Brian Bennett who scored 44 and 54 runs respectively helped their team to move ahead towards the path of victory. However, the wonderful spell of Mehidy Hasan Miraz intimidated the batters for a while. At the 54.5 over Zimbabwe reached their destined target of 174 losing 7 wickets on the other side. With 9 wickets haul at the conclusion of both the innings, the right-arm fast-medium pacer of Zimbabwe was awarded the PLAYER OF THE MATCH.
