No sooner had the match resumed for the second half, than Brazil upped their ante, making inroads into the Argentine half to find an equalizer. Persistence finally paid off and with every ounce of perfection, the Brazilian team scored a remarkable goal during a counter attack in the 77th minute to level the scores 1-1.
In the closing minutes, Brazil pressed ferociously, but rival defenders forced the match into a deadlock and finished in a draw. With this tie, a final champion of the tournament will be decided next weekend and the suspense for South American fans will remain alive.
