Digital Land Management coming soon across all over Bangladesh

দ্য Land Management System is getting digitized across the country with a statement from Land Advisor Ali Imam Majumder on Monday at the DCs conference held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium. Majumder projected the transition of land management from manual to a digital one at a conference of District Commissioners (DCs) at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Sylhet. The transition would create obstacles at the beginning, but soon people would find it easier, he assured.

The government has not fallen behind in inviting trained personnel and specialized companies to assist with this transition. This includes training and survey work involving the application of drones is presently being done.

Majumder said the Chief Adviser is committed to fully digitizing land management. To questions concerning pending applications for e-namzaari, Majumder assured them that the system would be operational before March 10. Senior Secretary of the Land Ministry ASM Saleh Ahmed meanwhile said the backlog of applications has dropped drastically to 4.5 lakh aided by the ongoing efforts.

The introduction of digital land management in the country will not only ease the process but also curb corruption and harassment while making life easy for the citizens.
