The notable Bangladeshi actress, Gulshan Ara Ahmed who etched her irreplaceable performances both on the silver screen and on the television took her last breath at the age of 61 on 15 April 2025 (Tuesday) at 6.40 am. The cause of her sudden demise has been reported due to a cardiac arrest. It is officially declared by one of her family members via a ফেসবুক post.
“Our beloved Gulshan Ara Ahmed Apa left us this morning at 6.40” said Director Kajal Arefin Ome.
“We will miss you dearly, Apa,” he added.
She has given her best for the role as Kabila’s mother, a humorous Chairman from ‘Noakhali’ and in the successful series like ‘Bachelor Point’. She had won hearts of millions through her amazing screen presence and the timely counter dialogues which had even become a cult. The passing of such a legendary actress has made a void in the Bangladeshi television industry.
