দ্য Asian Women’s Kabaddi Championship 2025 will take place in Tehran, Iran from March 6th to 8th. This is the sixth edition of the tournament which first began in 2005 and it has returned after an eight year gap.

India has been the strongest side having won four out of five editions of the tournament with South Korea winning in 2016. In 2017, India beat South Korea to win its last edition.

Seven teams are competing this year, divided into two groups. Group A consists of India, Thailand, Bangladesh and Malaysia while Group B has Iran, Iraq and Nepal. The two better performing teams from each group will qualify for the semi finals after a round-robin format.

Tehran becomes the first ever city to host this tournament twice having previously done the same in 2007.
