The second half brought the drama. In the 47th minute, Mohamed Simakan of Al Nassr was sent off after elbowing Ivan Toney dangerously, but Al Ahli couldn’t take advantage of the power play. After halftime, An equalizer came from Ali Majrashi for Al Ahli in the second minute of the second half, making it 1-1. It was a flashy comeback by Duran in the 88th minute to give them the lead again. Yahya scored a third for the visitors in the 80th minute and Sumayhan Al Nabit scored late for Al Ahli to finally take the game to 3-2.
