Korbani Eid or Eid Al Adha is a holiest Islamic festival celebrated in Bangladesh every year. This festival is observed by the followers of Islam around the word that celebrates the unwavering faith of Prophet Ibrahim who decides to sacrifice his own son Ismail as an act of obedience to Allah. Also, Eid Al Adha signifies the end of Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca which is carried out of devotion, faith and compassion. During the festivals people will do special prayers, animal sacrifice, and give away to charity. 

When is it observed? Holiday? 

This auspicious day is expected to be observed from 6 June 2025 to 10 June 2025. [But the days might change based on the lunar calendar and moon sighting ]. And it is a national holiday for everyone, so the total number of holidays are six days., i.e. 6-10 June 2025.

The festival not only fosters and strengthens the spiritual beliefs of the followers instead it reinforces the values of empathy, unity, love and sharing.
