The Dhallywood film industry is buzzing with the cinematic clash between the two titans such as, Shakib Khan’s ‘Borbaad’ and Afran Nisho’s ‘Daagi’. From the release on Eid al-Fitr the head-to-head fight for attracting the audience towards their movie grows in a healthy way. Both the films carry the core emotions and gripping storyline which gets uplifted by the stellar performances of all the actors.
In the light of the information, we come to know that the screens which were given for the movie ‘Borbaad’ in the Star Cineplex has been considerably decreased, in contrast the number of screens for ‘Daagi’ is doubled. Till the fourth day of its release ‘Borbaad’ was given 34 shows but on the fifth day it turned to 26 shows. For ‘Daagi’ it changed from 21 to 24 shows at the end of the fifth day.
The continuous housefull show or increasing arrival of audience for a particular movie depends on the impact or entertainment that a movie brings to an individual. During such a festive season release it is quite common that even the much anticipated stardom movie might fail to impress and the audience have choices of their own.
“Almost all Eid Movies are doing well. The issue of increasing or decreasing the show depends on the audience” said Mezmah Ahmed, Marketing Officer, Star Cineplex.
