Famous actress Jaya Ahsan is stepping into the Bangladeshi web series industry with ‘Jimmi’ premiering on Hoichoi on March 28th. Directed by Ashfaque Nipun, the series represents a huge milestone in Jaya’s career as it’s not only her first web series in Bangladesh but also the first project with the well-known director.
In her excitement Jaya Shared, “Jimmi is a project close to my heart. It’s my first web series in my country and I wanted to begin this journey with something impactful. This opportunity came at the right time and I feel a deep sense of love and excitement for it.”
She also assured that as with all her previous performances ‘Jimmi’ would introduce her in a unique yet very appealing way. Apart from ‘Jimmi’ Jaya has continued to shine brightly in Bangladeshi and even international cinema. Her musical film ‘Bagan Bilash’ has recently been aired and widely appreciated while her performance in ‘Dui Shaw’ got praised particularly in the Beshura episode.
She had also attended one film fest in the Netherlands for Putul Nacher Etikotha and had a nomination at India’s Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2025. Continuing on with ‘Jimmi’ Jaya Ahsan continues to change her artistic course by offering her fans another intense performance.
