Pakistani model and actress Zara Ahmed is all set to make her Bangladeshi film debut in Force, a high-octane action thriller directed by Asif Iqbal. On March 11th the director confirmed that Zara has signed on for the project thus making a big crossover in South Asian cinema.
The role will have her playing a police officer in an intense revenge driven storyline and director Asif Iqbal was impressed with her performances in Pakistani television dramas such as Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay and Khudsar.
This is an intense action sequence film, she later reviewed the full script and production plan before agreeing to join the project. The film is now in pre-production with shooting scheduled for April 10th at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (FDC).
Further shooting will be done in places like Keraniganj and Gazipur. For two weeks, Zara will reportedly be in Bangladesh and the team hopes to release the film during Eid-ul-Azha. The cast includes Bangladeshi actor Mak Didar in ‘Force’ which promises to be an exciting cross-border collaboration of action, drama and star power.
