The 8th Filmfare Awards Bangla will be held to recognize the greatest in Bengali cinema for 2024 on March 18th 2025 at JW Marriott Hotel, Kolkata with Puja Banerjee, Raj Chakraborty and Shiboprosad Mukherjee as hosts.
Leading the nominations are “Bohurupi” by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee with 16 nominations including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress. It is closely followed by “Chaalchitro: The Frame Fatale” and “Padatik” both of which have 14 nominations.
