Zulfiker Noori popularly known to many as Angel Noor has made an impressive mark as a singer, composer and actor in the entertainment industry of Bangladesh. He started out with covers, some of which gained him recognition but it was his original track ‘Jodi Abar’ where he made a safe landing among the youth of Bangladesh.
Noor’s switch from music to acting was quite unexpected but for him, it came easy. While studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at North South University, he got involved with the cultural organization of the university where his real talents first showed. His rare persona was caught in the eye of director Adnan Al Rajeev who offered him a spot for a commercial that opened avenues for him into the world of television and film.
He acted alongside Mobaroknama and became known for his roles in performances in the critically acclaimed ‘Boli’ which went on to receive an honor at the 28th Busan International Film Festival and became Bangladesh’s submission to the 97th Academy Awards. His work with illustrious actors further sharpened his skills and endeared him to the audience.

He has four upcoming films including two Bangladeshi projects and two Indian films from Tamil Nadu and Kolkata. “I have a significant fanbase in Kolkata, and that’s how I was approached for these projects,” he stated to The Daily Star, one of the biggest news platforms in Bangladesh.
He is now getting ready with two ventures from India and Bangladesh, Noor is a dynamic force in South Asian entertainment with a burgeoning film career proving his versatility across the creative spectrum.
His band ‘Angel Noor and Friends’ is actively performing on-stage all across Bangladesh with huge crowds, even he is praised by Arijit Sing for his songs. His fan base is going crazy spreading across India and Pakistan as well.
