Aston Villa 2-0 Cardiff: Match Highlights

Only ten minutes after that, Asensio scored again, as Bailey supplied him with a cross and the player curled the ball in the bottom corner for a hard-earned second goal.

Asensio was the hero of the night for Villa with two goals that put a seal on victory for the team, which has been on a roll since his loan move from Paris Saint-Germain. This match also credited Rashford with two assists.

Following this victory, Villa will turn its attention to its upcoming match with Club Brugge in the Champions League, while Cardiff will switch back to the Championship and their relegation fight.
