Michelle Trachtenberg, the star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl has passed away at the age of 39. The news shocked fans since despite her 39 years of life existence she was still not really old.
Her mother found her around 8 am Wednesday at her luxury apartment in Manhattan’s Central Park South neighborhood.
Trachtenberg reportedly had been suffering from severe health conditions for a year and went through a liver transplant recently. Sources close to the actress said that she had been very sick and in recent months looked a bit frail. One close friend even stated that she had been aware that her death was very probable and that she had entered hospital not so long ago because her condition was worsening.
The details surrounding her death have yet to be confirmed officially with the cause for them most likely to be determined by autopsy.
While fans and fellow actors took to different social media platforms to express their condolences with many reminiscing about her incredible performances through gleaming pigments. Rosie O’Donnell and Ed Westwick shared heartfelt salutations pinning out the battles she had fought against depression and their bitterness for her untimely demise.
